However, even with brand new batteries it displays "lo" indicating low battery. (I have tested the batteries with a multimeter, so I know they're good). I like wood flat platform. I bought this one because of 8.9 x 10.9 but it is 7 x 9. Because of the flat platform you can clean easily and it has light color. This scale doesn't have AA or AAA or 9 v batteries. It has 2 coin 2032 batteries. I don't know how long batteries will work. Batteries are included.
