First, the can had to be pried open. What was revealed was not a ham, rather it was ground up ham compressed together to fit the can. It was revolting. I spooned, spooned, not sliced off a small amount and put it on a plate and gave it to the cat to see what he thought of it. The cat sniffed it and walked away in disgust. That was enough for me.
