The look and feel of these boots compared to real snake skin is definitely worth it. They look good and no one knows, unless they are boot connoisseurs, if they are real snake. More importantly as the owner I think they look great! Have wide feet and the EE size fit perfectly. Having owned some skin boots before, I really prefer these. You have to really take care of real snake or they dry out. Plus you spent so much on them you feel like you have to baby them. With these just go, no worries! If you scuff or get dirty doesn't break your heart and wallet. So I say try them you to might enjoy what I am talking about! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Snake printed boot *by B***O on November 28, 2013* The snake print really looks real, I thought this might deserve a 5 star but I gave 4 because its leather lined. Quality is excellent though, just thin and soft so you need to stuff it when storing to retain the shape. I am quite sure its durable, well sewed and very fine craftmanship. Do not hesitate if your in for the looks, it is worth it for the price, its not $400 but looks like it! ### ⭐⭐ Cheap quality *by R***R on November 15, 2018* I purchased these boots in 2015 and have only worn them ten times or less. The last time I pulled these boots on, the strap broke on the outside of the right boot. Upset, I inspected the other straps and noticed that the left strap on this same boot is only hanging on by a few threads. I repeat, I've only put these boots on my feet ten times or less! I finally got around to calling Sheplers to find out about their warranty and learned they only have a limited warranty (I think the rep said 90 days) and there was nothing they could do. I won't bother paying a cobbler to repair these cheap straps as they would only break again after minimal use. I realized when I purchased these boots that they weren't of the highest quality, but I expected the straps to last much longer than what they did.
