It's a nice little drive and I like how the cord tucks into the bottom of it when not in use. The problem I have is that it conflicts with my computer. I am using a 2018 Macbook Pro running Mojave, and this drive knocks out my WiFi connection. I have to manually turn it back on, and am unable to get on the internet at all any time the drive is connected. As soon as I disconnect the drive all is OK. It's a work around problem, but still an inconvenience. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Difficult to work with. *by M***. on Reviewed in the United States on July 1, 2019* Been using this for 2 months. I'm using this with the latest Mac mini (w/USB 3) running MacOS 10.14.5. So far I've been using it to read CDs, play DVDs, and read data discs, I've not tried any burning.I sometimes have issues getting discs out. The EJECT button on the mac keyboard never works (possibly because it's an external drive), the button on the front of the unit works only sometimes - IF your disc is good and task completed normally. If it gets stuck trying to read a bad section on a disc, the player goes into a loop and ignores all software commands (to the point of force quiting the program won't get it to stop), and the button on the front doesn't work. I suggest keeping a paper clip handy to eject bad discs. I have this unit connected to a powered USB 3 hub and find it painfully slow - no better than USB 2.Just my experiences, your mileage may vary.... ### ⭐⭐⭐ Time Warp *by W***L on Reviewed in the United States on May 29, 2019* I have not used the burner, but the reader works with my MacBook. The USB 3 is just a plug converter that takes regular USB and makes it fit in USB 3. The read speeds seem a little slow to me. I was getting 5-8X. I won't be using it often, so the limitations are probably ok, but it does not impress.
