Purchase this immediately if you need a flat iron! It doesn't stag or crease the hair. It glides through with 1 pass and no frizz. Herstyler has worked better than my expense flat iron. I do wish it had a shut off feature.

My hair takes a really long time to straighten. This is the fastest straightener I have used so far. I know they have a lot of new ones coming out, which i did buy one from the mall, but honestly I don't see any difference in damage or usefulness. I would stick to this one for the price difference, even after getting a great deal on the new one. If I had to buy another, I'd buy this one. I have curly/ wavy/ frizzy hair and this controls the frizzy amazingly. Works fast, heats VERY fast** (be careful not to burn whatever you put it on! I once left mine on on carpet on top of the bag it came in and dyed my carpet pink.. oops. I forgot it though so it was hours. Never had an issue doing it while using it.) My hair is dry and impossible to tame with most straighteners. I now mostly leave it curly to avoid damage but if I were to straighten it again, I use this straightener because I feel it does less damage than others due to only having to use it one time over each area of hair vs several with other brands. I don't recommend using it on wet hair though. It steams, burns your head, and kinda feels like it's frying your hair... plus makes it frizzy and causes you to go over it several times vs once if it's dry. If you do use it wet, shake it gently as you go over the part next to your head to avoid getting burnt.

This will be the best investment you will ever own, so dont feel uneasy about how good it is, or if its real..its all that, its real! Super fast shipping..Cracked open the box and plugged it right in. It heated up in no time, and I went to town on my hair. Pros: Comes in a cute satin bag, thats cushioned inside with fleece, and the Herstyler genuine box. Heats up super fast, flattens hair in one to two strokes, leaves my hair soft with no frizz. I have wavy long frizzy hair. Cons: pulls my hair, but I dont care, I'm just more careful, and it does'nt matter because my hair looks fab. The only advice I have is to be careful with the heat setting. It gets very hot, and I dont think putting the dial up to the full heat is a good idea (450) It can work just as good on a low setting. Or else you will fry your hair. Otherwise I love this tool, and its the best that I've ever had in my life. My hair has never ever looked so good. Its stick straight, shiny, and soft. I did my hair in no time..It usually takes 20 min to straighten my hair..Now it only takes about five minutes..And I dont look like my hair is dry, fried, and frizzy..I am so over looking like I tried to straighten my hair. Now my hair looks naturally straight. I'm totally in love.. BTW, I bragged to my friend about my find, and she told me she bought the Herstyler curling iron at the mall from those annoying sales people for 200.00. She was shocked at how much I only spent..which was free compared to her price. Telling all of my co- workers, classmates, and family..I'm even planning on buying some for my sister-inlaws..

I love this straightener. My GHD went out on me and I didn't want to spend money on something super pricey, but this worked out great and was suggested by my coworker. It does have some weight to it compared to your expensive straighteners. And I also like to curl my hair with the straightener and it can tend to get caught in the plates so it kind of can rip at your hair, but I have super thick hair so not an issue for me personally.

For those who think this is the same flat iron as the Amika brand, that is not the case. This flat iron looks very similar, nearly identical to an Amika, but it is different. I am giving this 3 stars because it functions. I can’t give it more than that because it was smoking before it even touched my hair. I’m accustomed to seeing a little steam/heat when I run the flat iron through my hair, but there was so much smoke coming off of this flat iron that I was worried it would burn my hair. I did a pass through my hair, and while it worked, I was worried about how mucu smoke I was seeing, which continued even when I turned the heat down. Ultimately, it is just okay. I don’t know what I was expecting for ~$20, but I let myself be seduced by the positive reviews and was too curious not to try it out. I ended up buying another Amika, which cost about $60 with a coupon I had, and the quality is unmistakeably different. Where this flat iron is very lightweight, the Amika is more substantial. It also doesn’t smoke while it’s heating up or between passes on my hair, even on its hottest setting. Because this flat iron is so light, it leads me to believe that the “ceramic” plates in are just coated with ceramic rather than fully ceramic like an Amika and some other high end brands. I wouldn’t purchase this or recommend it, and it cost money to return. I decided it wasn’t worth $7 for a return when it was only about $20 to begin with. I’m planning to donate it, and hopefully someone else loves it like all the people in the other reviews.

I ordered on April 17th and still never got my item. When I placed the order, it said that it would be delivered between April 30th and May 3rd. Still nothing.. I wrote a few times to the seller, nothing.. It was supposed to be a gift, but it never got her. It says on the receipt that the order is late, but I can't track the package. Writing a bad review is my last resort of catching the seller's attention. I love this brand and this straightener. I've been using this brand for a couple of years. However I am very disappointed in the service that I am getting.

Esta plancha es una de las más cómodas y funcionales que conozco. Me gusta que se calienta muy rápido y puedes usarla al momento. Es ligera y sirve para alaciar o rizar. Regular la temperatura es sencillo y es fácil llevarla de viaje por su tamaño y peso. Me encanta!! Es una gran marca que he usado durante por lo menos 7 años. Súper durables!!
