We love this bike seat so far. Everything seems well made and the instructions for installation were clear and easy to follow. My daughter loves riding shotgun on the bike! Sizing was as expected, my daughter is 12-18 months size and fits perfectly. I especially appreciate the sturdy, adjustable straps and the feet straps for securing my daughter’s feet (she likes to kick). The other great feature is the little fake steering wheel for her to hold on to, which is part of the lap bar that unsnaps so you can easily get your child in and out of the seat. We love riding around the neighborhood with her in this seat, and feel like she is safe and secure up there.

This thing is perfect! Our 2 year old loves it! It fits really well even on my track back with very little space above the headset. If you have a bike (like a track bike) with very few spacers above the headset and perfectly flat top tube, the d-ring on the locking pin will hang down and hit the top tube. I had to get a small M3 bolt and nyloc nut to replace the d-ring/snap pin. I used a small zip tie and just cut it off after each ride for a few days and that worked too. There isn't any load on that part, just keeps it from sliding front to back or coming off the mounting bar. The mount itself is really simple and sturdy. The tool stores under the lap bar/steering wheel in case you need it. I wouldn't worry at all about my son falling off or breaking the mount. The top review on here shows a broken mount with some porosity in the casting. I can't imagine they still have that problem after making so many of them for this long. I will update this review after I take the mount to the quality lab at work and check it out. The seat is great! It's padded in the center where the kid sits and on their back, but not the sides. This is a good thing because it allows the seat to be so narrow. I have very little clearance between the bars, the stem, the headset, and the top tube, but this thing fits PERFECTLY! There is plenty of clearance for his legs, it's really narrow and doesn't affect my riding position very much. It's wider than my knees are apart, but with a properly sized bike frame my knees are clear of the seat. It's really awesome to have such a low impact on the riding position while having a child on your bike with you! I have a new mountain bike coming this weekend that should fit this setup even better, I'll update this review. Riding with this seat and a 28lb child is absolutely fine. The weight being on and mostly centered over the headset is almost unnoticeable. You can turn almost 90° each way fully unobstructed. The kid can even pull, kick, and play with the handle bars and since they are mounted on the same post, it' doesn't even slightly affect the steering of the bike. You d notice the fact that you are carrying 28 extra pounds with you, but not in an inconvenient way. He can play with the built-in "steering wheel" and he has a blast. Bumps and cracks in the road do not bother my son when in the seat, even on my track bike with 100psi in the tires. The padding does a nice job while not taking up too much room. This thing is super cool, but you really have to be 100% confident on a bike if you want to carry a child on a seat like this. Washing out on gravel in a turn, falling over your bars, hitting a curb wrong and dumping your bike, or even just having to stop unexpectedly and dropping your bike could end very badly for the kid. Even a hard 90° whip of the wheel when hitting a curb wrong could hurt a kid sitting in a seat a foot away from the rotation with no neck support. So, don't buy this if you are even slightly worried you can't handle it.

This is he only seat to fit my 24 inches huffy sienna. Initially it didn’t fit properly in the T joint came with the bike seat. We had to do little tweaking by increasing the height of the handle bar stem. Then it fit like a glove. My little one loves going ride on it. I’m not sure if it’s durable. But for time being it works great. For this price range, this is the only seat I came across that has 5 point harness. It can be little difficult to take the baby out of the seat because it fits perfectly. If you take the hand aka sleep support came along with the seat, you can easily take the baby out. There’s no way to lock the seat in the bike. That might be a drawback. Otherwise it’s worth the price. Get it as soon as your baby hits 9 months. So you will get used to the weight. Or you will find it difficult to pedal with a toddler in the bike. Unless the rear seat, it doesn’t affect the balance. Love this seat. Wish we bought it earlier

Once I got my own tools this was easy to install but most people know that the "tools" that come with a product are throw aways. The child is strapped in well; straps over the shoulders so they can't jerk the handlebars abruptly, and even at the ankles so they can't kick and throw off balance. All of the childs weight is on the handle bars and front tire which takes a bit of getting used to. Once the helmet's on the child it's somewhat difficult to reach around to the handlebars. My knees also hit the bottom of the seat so I had to peddle rather awkwardly. The space between me and the back of the seat was minimal so it made mounting and dismounting nerve wracking, hopefully it will get easier as I find a method. I might return the product but for the fact that the child LOVED it. When I turned around to head home he became very upset and was whinning "More! More!'. There's no doubt that all the kids who have taken a ride LOVE IT!

I was apprehensive about picking this child bike seat over the many options out there. After (too) much research, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered this one. I was so surprised how EASY it was to install even on my folding bike ( I have the Schwinn Loop). The directions were so easy to follow (my 7 year old read them to me as we assembled it together), the (one) tool needed was included, and the hardware was in perfect condition. It took a couple tries to find the right spot on my bike's handlebar post to place the mounting hardware, but that was mostly due to mine being a folding bike, so it's a bit smaller than most bikes. My nearly 2 year old (whom we bought the seat for) absolutely loves it! She wakes up every morning just wanting to ride, and cries when she he has to come down. I was also worried about whether I'd be able to see over her, or if I'd have good control of the bike. I'm only 5'2" and 120lbs (or as my husband says: pocket-sized). I worried for nothing! I can see perfectly over her head (top of her head is a good 6-8 inches under my chin when I'm seated), and because the seat is center mounted, our combined weight is evenly distributed, so I can handle the bike just fine-- it's like she's not even on there! What I like the most is I can remove the seat easily (less than 2 seconds) when she's not riding with me, but still keep the mounting hardware on-- it's not overly obtrusive. And if I want to take the mount off-- say to put on another bike--that would be easy, too. The size of the seat is great, too. In fact, my only regret is not buying it sooner so we could have used it since she was smaller. It would fit her for at least another 2 years, but she'll want her own tricycle before then. Love this seat!

Not too long after I purchased this - my son had only been for maybe a half dozen rides in it - I surprised him by picking him up from daycare by bike. Instead of rushing over to hug me as he usually would, he saw the helmet and rushed to grab it and put it on his head because he was so excited. The biggest problem that I have with the seat is that if my son sees his helmet or the bike, he wants to go for a ride. To say that this is a winner with him would be an understatement. I purchased the newer version of this seat and found the quality of the components to be fine. Installation was easy. I have monitored all of the installation hardware and after 3 months and a couple dozen rides, nothing has loosened up. I mostly ride on a MUP and neighborhood streets but will occasionally ride on gravel as well. I haven't really pushed it as far as doing longer rides - I think that 6 miles is the furthest that we have gone so far. I don't have any grand plans to go for any really long rides with him but expect that 10 miles would be fine by him. The only time he has complained was one morning we went out when it was a little cool outside and he got cold because I didn't put on his jacket. A couple of considerations - the amount of leg room between the handlebars and the seat will very much be dependent on the characteristics of your bike. More specifically, the length/rise of your stem and the rise/sweep (if any) of your handlebars. My son is so eager to go for a ride that he is very cooperative in sliding his legs into the seat, under the bars. But if you have a reluctant rider and limited space between the bars and seat, this could be more challenging - maybe even a two person job. The other thing to seriously consider is your bike handling skills and where you will be riding - I believe that I saw this in another review and couldn't agree more. Having 30 lbs attached to the stem drastically changes the handling, maneuverability , and stopping characteristics of your bike. I am an avid cyclist (road and MTB) with better than average bike handling skills and I am very thoughtful about where I will ride when my son is sitting up front. At this point my biggest concern is figuring out how we will ride together when he outgrows this seat.

We were looking for a seat that was safe and would allow either our 7 month old or 2 year old to tag along with us on bike rides. This thing has absolutely fit the bill. From reading reviews I was mainly concerned it wasn't going to fit my Iron Horse mountain bike. I was worried about that because our Schwinn child bike trailer hitch would not fit on my bike so I figured this seat would probably be the same and not be compatible. I took a chance and glad I did. This fit my bike perfectly. I'm 6'2" and worried I'd look like a clown riding in a circus on one of those tiny bikes with my knees sticking out. I was pleasantly surprised that this doesn't retract from my natural pedaling motion much and I'm quite comfortable. Both of my sons absolutely love this seat. My 7 month old wouldn't stop smiling and my 2 year old kept asking me not to stop. Only slightly negative comments I would make is what others have stated about the seat belt - it's somewhat awkward and also the bar that the seat slides onto is a tad smaller than the notch on the seat itself so there is some wiggle room. It made me nervous at first but I tested this thing out thoroughly and realized the seat wasn't going anywhere. I'm guessing they did that on purpose but what that purpose is I'm not quite sure. Lastly, we looked at both rear and front attached seats. I'm so glad we went with the front attached seat. It's nice having my kids right in front of me and feel like I have complete control. I can gauge how hard to apply the brake without giving them whiplash because I can see them. As long as this will fit your bike do not hesitate to purchase it. Your kids will thank you for it even if they can't talk yet!

We love this our kiddo is obsessed. Installation wasn’t too bad. Kiddos 18m now but has been sitting in it for over a year now. Feet part are adjustable which is nice. The seat should definitely go higher in the back and should have a better 5 point harness. It slips down sometimes, adjustable only to an extent. The angle it sits at is just not safe for having over the shoulders of the baby. And it just sits awkwardly on the shoulders. Comes with a little steering wheel which is cute though!

I had one of the earlier versions dating back to 15 years ago and it finally got too weathered (aesthetically only) and decided to buy this new one for my latest baby. This is sturdy and keeps your child safe with you, and you don’t have to worry about your child falling off the bike because he will be right in front of you, between your arms and between your legs. And you don’t have to worry about their little legs getting caught in the wheels of or anything. These seats are almost indestructible man… my first sat in it till she was 4, second sat in it till he was 5, and now I’m on to my third child. While it is recommended to put your baby in it after he is a year old, all my children started riding in them at around 9 months old, when they are able to sit on their own, and even then, I lean my body forward against theirs and I ride slow and on the extremely smooth surfaces in the well-paved tracks in the parks of Singapore. So use it at your own risk for infants. And do not forget the cycling helmet for infants!

Installation rapide,ma fille adors,elle est bien attaché et surtout les jambes sont bien contenues pas de risque de se les mettre dans la roue. Je suis libre de pédalé sans entrave pour mes jambes. Pour moi c est parfait!

I am so glad I went with this chair over a trailer. We take so many quick rides to playgrounds. He is so close to me I can even kiss him while riding. Love it. The baby steering wheel is a nice touch to keep baby busy. The only downside is that I no longer have room for my bottle holder anywhere on my bike.

Dudé mucho para comprar esta silla frontal. Pero ahora, después de varios meses de uso debo decir que fue una buena compra. La instalación no es tan simple como aparenta, pero pude hacerla yo mismo. A mi hija le fascinó y siempre quiere ir en su silla. Lo que sí debe cuidarse es que el niño no se mueva ni balancee porque sí que afecta el balance de la bicicleta. Buena relación calidad-precio.

Excelente adquisición, mi hija va feliz y cómoda, me gustaría que tuviera un respaldo más alto, pero en general muy bien.
