I have the Macbook Pro 2018 15" w/ Touch Bar, so I have the luxury of having the 4 total Thunderbolt 3 ports. This is definitely the way of the future, but it just doesn't work yet, because we still have a cable for everything, so I bought this product. It matches my Macbook well (Space Grey), and provides me with the functionality I set out to find. It's well made, appears to be machined well, and can fit easily just about anywhere in your laptop case/bag. It fits great on my macbook pro-touchbar. Snug and looks great! I have been using it to transfer a lot of data from usb-c to usb 3.0 and this thing is fast. I'm pleased again with products from this company and would definetly recommend for it's size and capacity to handle workloads such as mine.
