I wanted a hard case for my manifold (Testo) to keep it from getting beat up while in my work truck and while being hauled off a roof with a bunch of other equipment. the case is well built, the latches are awesome. with a hole cut in the side of the case I can still stand on it and it remains solid (I'm 270lbs). a bit of spray adhesive keeps the foam in place. They fell more sturdy and the latch handles are more secure and easier to operate than Pelican. Whenever I open a Pelican I feel like I'm going to break a finger nail or scratch myself because it is too hard to pull up on the latches. With Nanuk, it locks tight, but there is another easier safety release that you push, making the latch very easy to release. I feel like a child can safely latch and unlatch Nanucks, but not Pelican. I often have to slap the latch of Pelicans in order to latch them close. I never have to do that with Nanuks.
