I'm on my second box and couldn't be more pleased with the performance of the first. A box of 100 typically lasts me one school year. I didn't have one single problem with one single envelope out of my last box. I've never had a problem with the seam down the middle, though it is slightly split at the top which is covered once the envelope is sealed (see photo). I’m sure it’s purpose is to allow an easier entry for paper. I've pulled on this split and it doesn't cause the seam to come apart. I love that there is a simple pull tab to reveal the adhesive rather than having to lick them myself. I love the crisp white color that allows the things I write on the outside to show up perfectly. Mostly, I love that these envelopes are confidential and you can't see anything that's written on the papers you put inside. You could fit about 20 pages of printer-weight, standard, letter size papers (8.5x11) inside. I wouldn't cram more than that. As you can see from the photo of green 8.5x11 paper, there's plenty of room for standard size paper inside. I've mailed items in these envelopes and they've arrived in perfect condition.
