Once someone becomes familiar with this tool, stripping wires becomes very easy, and pliers will no longer be needed for stripping. An automatic wire stripper is a must-have tool for electricians. It can easily strip the insulation of single-core PVC-insulated copper/aluminium wires of 6 sq mm and even up to 10 sq mm with a little effort, although it is not recommended for that.

Stripper is of excellent quality. Used it quite a bit and I am amazed with technology, build quality, ease of use aspects of it. Would recommend this as a good buy for both amateur and professional use.

Weil ich in letzter Zeit im Haushalt und im Rahmen einiger Elektronik-Bastelprojekte immer häufiger einmal Kabel schneiden und die Litzen freilegen musste, habe ich mir diesen praktischen Helfer gekauft. Meiner Meinung nach ist es ein perfekter Begleiter für diverse Aufgaben im Haushalt mit einer soliden Bauweise, einer guten Haptik, die für angenehmes Arbeiten sorgt. Die Verwendung des Schneiders ist völlig unkompliziert und selbsterklärend. Kabel anlegen, Zange betätigen, fertig. Bis 6mm Kabel lassen sich dort gut abisolieren. Ich habe so problemlos und sauber Lautsprecherkabel mit 6mm2 Stärke, einfache Litzen (0,14mm2 bis 1,5mm2) abisoliert sowie gängige Kabel im Haushalt verarbeitet. So lassen sich gut auch passende Aderendhülsen oder Kabelschuhe anbringen. Zwar gibt es hierfür auch eine passende Vorrichtung, aber dafür nutze ich eine separate Crimpzange. Dennoch funktioniert das einfach Crimpen auch hiermit gut. Ein praktisches, rundum gelungenes und sauber verarbeitetes Werkzeug. Verpackung einfach gehalten; dadurch wenig Müll. Ich mag die Farben, die Stanley wählt. Da fallen die Tools im Werkzeugkasten sofort ins Auge. Die Bilder zeigen die Schritte "Kabel vorbereiten, Zange einstellen auf Abisolierlänge", "Anlegen des LS-Kabels an Arretierung", "Ergebnis nach einmaligem Abziehen".
