I have a Asus x570 TUF Gaming Plus ATX motherboard, and when this is inserted into the 1st 16x PCIe 4.0 slot, it gives me four 4x M2 NVME slots to use. My GPU then goes in the 2nd PCIE 16x slot, which supports 4 lanes of PCIe 4.0 (equivalent to 8x PCIe 3.0 lanes).
