650 X 0.1 Gram Digital Pocket Scale

I purchased the WeighMax 500g x 0.1 Digital Pocket scale for use as a portable food scale. As someone who is watching portion sizes both at home and while eating out, I've found the WeighMax scale to be very handy. Accuracy in food measurements is a crucial element of effective weight loss when combined with calorie counting, and the WeighMax was portable enough to allow me to take this to cookouts, restaurants, etc. It's about the size of an index card and the thickness of a finger. It fits easily in my purse or pocket. I would highly recommend this as a food scale.

I used this to weigh my 1982 pennies for my coin collection. In that year they were made from mostly copper like older pennies to mostly zinc like modern ones. Best "way" to tell them apart is to get the weight. This works great for that task. Only problems have been that batteries don't seem to last as long as I think they should for such a simple thing, and my pennies have scratched the metal. But I'm very happy with it overall.

I received my scale in very good packaging, the scale came with batteries and a very easy to follow step by step operational Manuel. I've use the scale to weigh couple of items that I knew the weight of and was surprise to see that the scale is 99.9% accurate for the price. Love it and i'm very happy with it, I will recommend tis product to anyone.

I sorta understand why it's not calibrated as the batteries aren't connected till you pull the safety tab. This makes sense cause otherwise, batteries will be drained while the product is on the shelves. I just wish they shipped a 500g weight cause now I have to go back and purchase a weight and wait for it to be shipped to me. *SIGH*. The scale itself is decent. Small enough to fit in a pocket. The cover is handy and protects the scale. The display is bright. The calibration is off (I tried a few coins to check) by .2 grams. The scale is not very sensitive either. You can drop a few grains of sand on it and the display would not change. Not too big of a deal if you're not interested in being that accurate. I give it minus a star because no weight was included, nor a mention that the weight would be needed, and the fact that otherwise, it's not calibrated and I have to wait for my weight. Editted 5/16/12 Been about a year now and the scale has worked perfectly.

It works, it is just like a woman and is very picky. If you don't tare it after each turn on, which it should do by itself, then it might not weigh right. The metal plate moves around a little and that to me is no good. Does not come with a weight to calibrate even though the instructions say it should have.

Scale works as it should. Seem very accurate but you will need to buy a set of weights to make sure it is accurate. It does not come with any weights. The scale works very well but you need to be sure the things being weighed are in the exact middle of the scale to be dead on

Scale wasn't good. 8th were 2.0 smh

Stopped scaling correctly after about a month. Kept it in a location with nothing magnetic or electronic, perfectly calibrated. Just poor quality i guess.
