That part was not comfortable! I looked under the cushions & noticed there was a pretty good size gap to where the folded up bed part was. I saw this one day here and decided to order and try it out. I’m so glad I did! I’d also looked at pads one could put inside the cushions to firm them up, but they were way more expensive for 1 pad & I’d have needed 3. This fit perfectly under all 3 cushions after I cut to size and no more having the back of my legs resting on the hard edge.
