Fantastic, Straightforward Guide!
This an excellent, easy to follow guide to using speedlights. It's honest and straightforward, and covers a wide variety of speedlight options and approaches (eg, OEM vs off-brand, TTL vs Manual) including the pros and cons of each. It also covers the classic lighting patterns in an easy to understand manner. An indispensable guide for the aspiring strobist!

Quality Studio Lighting - Oh, yeah... with Speedlights!!
Much more about studio lighting than just the speedlight aspect. Excellent light setup descriptions and examples. Describes simply and easily how with digital less power is needed, and how to add TTL to the mix. Totally worth the read!! :-)

Great great book. I like the writing style, keep me interested. Lots of information about flashes(learned about the Japanese color display Nissin Di866 Mark II for Nikon, beautiful flash), triggering systems(infrared, radio, etc) Its all about Speedlight Got the Kindle version, just love it.

Good intro book to speedlights
This was an easy read and I believe would help most people looking to get into speed lights. Itโs a bit dated but the theory is there.

Light, Your Way, With Speedlights...!
A great book. I ordered the Kindle version for my iPad. Very informative and with clear concise instructions to go along with the photo diagrams. A must have for beginning to mid-level photographers who don't have the capitol to purchase those large, expensive light sets.

A very useful and informative book. If you been doubtful about using Speedlight, look thorough this book and you will soon change your mind. Plenty of comparative illustrations to help you understand the type of lighting possible with these little devices.

A good beginners guide but nothing earth shattering here. If your experience with strobes is limited, this will give you a good basic introduction.

What a superb book. has just the right level of information. It is pitched at the competent photographer so it is advanced. A great read and packed full of ideas about how to use speedlights. It is written around Cannon products but refers to the Nikon CLS as well. Gives great guidance on what NOT to buy. I too use 4 speedlights and a Sekonic flash meter so it makes a lot of sense to me. I have to say Amherst Media do have a lot of photography books on lighting and portraits, but this being a new book is bang up to date with the latest speedights and dispels lots of myths about the need for large power packs and studio lights.

An excellent book that shows you quite literally how to set up pro-lighting arrangements with Speedlights. Admittedly you will need quite a few for some of the sets. That said, the author, although a Canon fan, quite readily uses Neewer and other Chinese clones, highlighting the price difference. A useful guide for buying equipment on a budget, as the author recommends both the equipment he uses and alternatives, A quick flick through Amazon and you'll find most of the stuff he mentions. I'm pretty experienced, but I found this book, both entertaining and informative - definitely learnt stuff. Highly recommended
