They are still rough. I could have bought the equivalent for cheaper at Wal Mart. Finding decent, affordable, fitted sheets that cover the bottom of the mattress hasn't been easy. These sheets fit, and they're 100% cotton, so no pilling. The generous size allows the fitted sheet to wrap under the bottom of the mattress, where the elastic secures it nicely. The sheets and pillow cases felt great and have a nice weight to them,I am a hot sleeper and these sheets keep me cool and are very soft and cozy.
