Set of 8 Black coated Brass Speaker Spikes by My Audio Addiction This spike is heavy duty and will hold a large speaker. It has a lock nut that will positively lock in the adjustment to each spike. The dimension are the spike itself is 1 3/16. Total height including mounting side is 2". 11/16" at widest part. Mounting end is 1/2" wide. M8 thread size. These spikes ship from the U.S.A. unlike others who ship out of China. You will receive your item quickly and it will be top quality.

The base of my DIY steampunk style stands are 5/4 oak (that's 1" thick). Most spikes are designed to screw into MDF or particle board speaker boxes. These can be attached to my hardwood oak base plates. The price is reasonable too.
