This setting determines which radio frequencies the watch uses to determine the correct time and the offset to UTC. A similar watch, the Casio Oceanus OCW-T200, can use either a Bluetooth connection to your phone or the Multiband 6 system to synchronize the time, which is useful if you frequently stay outside of the range of the time signal transmitters. It is solid titanium, nicely polished, easy on/off the wrist and micro-adjustable without removing a link. The band is nicely engineered and expensive. I will put them up against any watch on earth. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazon, Premium-Japan, and Casio Hit a Home Run *by F***C on December 20, 2016* The watch arrived on Dec. 19th after ordering it on December 14th of 2016. From Japan, that is amazing. It came with manuals and a written Japan only warranty. Manuals were in multiple languages, including English. The watch was charged enough to be in condition 1, which means the hands moved every second and all features were working. After changing my home city as directed the time and date corrected to EST in the US as I'd hoped. The condition appears new and there are no marks evident on the watch. I am very pleased. It is beautiful. All the hands line up perfectly with the face marks. It synched up automatically with the atomic clock overnight here in SW Florida near the Gulf Coast. It matches perfectly with the change every minute on the Verizon FIOS set top box clock. The watch is lighter than the stainless steel varieties and I was hoping that would be the case. Also, I have an eight inch around wrist and there is slack in the band, so I'll need a link or so taken out. I am happy that it will fit and not be too tight. I am very pleased with the watch, my first fairly expensive watch of any kind. I wanted quartz for the accuracy and I wanted a power system that wouldn't necessitate opening the back of the watch every few years. Lastly, it is very pretty but not overly fancy watch.
