I would purchase it again and again!
I've owned about 20 of these sensors and they're all worked very good. I have not had any issues unless I've run them over by accident! Worth it!

Good Product
This thing is great. Easy set up, works consistently. Only phantom alarms were when a horse knocked it over and it filled with rain. Shook it out and back up and running.

Decent Motion Detector
We had a DCMT 2500 several years ago, but did not install it on our new property because it was not compatible with the newer DCPT 4000. We added the DCMT 4000 to our system to let us know if there is anyone walking down our driveway. Yes, the DCMT will also detect vehicles, but does not do so consistently, especially in winter compared to the DCPT. The DCMT does do a good job detecting animals/people though.

Works fantastic on big properties and you have a selection of different tunes you can select.
This works so well for our 10 acres. No problems at all. The only problem I have is that 2 main receivers were sent to me by accident. I ordered one receiver, I received the sensor first, then I realized the receiver was supposed to be delivered at the same time but the order was still sitting in MY HISTORY, so I ordered it and I ended up receiving 2 total. Now Iโm getting charged to return one, which I think that was completely AMAZONS error.

Good product
This is the second one we have owned from this company. First one lasted 13yrs. We have a 1/2 mile lane. It will read clear out to the other cross road. But... everything someone drove by the gravel dust would set it off. Just move it up our lane 200ft. And it works great. Highly recommend this driveway alarm

Works most of the time but tube is too long if you have more than one placed on driveway.
While these work well at going off 3 out of 4 times someone comes down the driveway, they are slow because of the tunes. We placed 4 coming down our very long driveway and when someone drives past the first one the tune takes so long to play that by the time each one plays through the person is already at the house and on the porch. The tune should be much shorter. They just donโt have that option.

Don't buy these. False specifications.
These are a massive downgrade from the original Dakota Alerts. They claim long range. Absolutely not true. I have one in a straight clear shot just 100ft from my house and it often times doesn't go off. I have 4 of these total and have rotated them all out to that same spot. All are hit or miss on detection. Through extensive experimentation, I figured out that the max one will work is 400 feet when going through a window with no obstacles. And it only went off 1 time out of 25 times of walking in front of it. These are junk and a bad investment.
