    Some fresh ideas that gave me new motivation...

It had lots of great reminders, but there were many references to "The Five Love Languages" by Gary Chapman and "His Needs, Her Needs" by Dr. Wilcox.  I've read both of these and loved them, so the material was good, and I probably needed to hear it again.  If you haven't read either of the books, this was definitely a simplified version of the two combined, just categorized into two minute things you could do to put the concepts presented in their books into action, with some sprinkles of the authors personal experiences, or experiences she shares of others, to illustrate a concept.  I would still highly recommend this book because if you put her material into action, I think you would see improvement in your marriage, regardless of where your marriage is at.  It gave me some fresh ideas and some new motivation to put a little more work into a great marriage to make it a spectacular marriage!

What a great book!  Heidi Poelman writes with insight and humor.  The suggestions in the book are easy, doable and meaningful ways that we can keep the love ignited in our marriages.  The book is backed by credible research and countless interviews with happy couples.  I would recommend The 2 Minute Marriage Project to all couples!
