It works. Have to push down on the back of the lid by the flap that holds the lid on to get it to stay shut. It popped open after putting the Aquaphor in but I found that it will stay shut if it is pressed shut in that particular area. It has not broken in a couple of months. So many come in a package that even if they break, I will have them till I die.
