This was my first time purchasing an item that had no previous reviews. My usual requirement is at least 30 reviews. I took a chance on this item because it was the only one that had both the mount adapter and tripod. Other options would require separate company purchases totaling $30-$40. I am very pleased to have taken the chance on this setup. The WiFi base slides into adapter perfectly (only from one side). The saying, “fits like a glove” would be accurate. Both adapter and tripod feel well-made and high quality. Charging port works without issue. At the time of writing the cost is just under $20. If it had been given as a gift, I would have guessed the cost couldn’t be under $40. Though other brand adapters are available through Amazon, one is recommended in several online reviews as having high quality accessories for the Osmo Pocket, the individual reviews were not very reassuring. Additionally, just the mount by this other brand costs the same as this mount and tripod. I would make this purchase again, rather than the other options available.
