RGB LED TV Backlight 2M 60LEDs USB Powered Multi Color SMD 5050 Lights Strip Kit with 24 Key Remote Control for Flat Screen TV, PC Monitor, Party Decor

Bought 2 of these strips as an upgrade to the bedroom. I specifically chose them because they are 2m long and powered by USB, with a tiny flat receiver that's easy to hide. The length is perfect for a bedside, no need to waste a bunch of strip by cutting it off, though I did end up cutting off 1 LED to fit my setup (the strips and the receivers sit under the drawers). The USB power is perfect, since I don't have to deal with power bricks that come with larger mains-powered strips - just grabbed a 2-port mains adapter (more sockets to boot!) and the cable mess is avoided! It all goes behind the bed, so never seen. I've included a photo of the mains adapter I used here. The controls are quite limited in terms of color choice and modes, compared to some of the bigger strips - there's only a white pulse (I don't seem to be able to make any other color pulse, it just defaults to white), you can't dial in your own RGB values to get the perfect color, the preset palette is quite small (but the choice of shades is good) - I'd assume that's down to the small receiver and whatever limited programmable chip is in it. The remotes work REALLY well! The receivers sit under the bed drawers along the bottom, so they are partially obscured by the wood and they're all the way down by the floor at the head level - I can control my missis' side of the LEDs by just pointing my remote toward the wall - no effort at all! That's a win for us :) The remotes are identical, so while we both have one each - both strips will listen to either one remote, which, in our case, is desired. In some other applications you may find it to be a nuisance with multiple strips close to one another. The adhesion is very good, the application process was simple. I don't think these are 3M tapes, though, as they just come with a plain red backing strip, but they seemed to stick very well to the bedframe (which I cleaned carefully before application). Time will tell if they come off, but in my case they are also helped by the fact that the drawers press them down to the frame a bit anyway. Overall - I'm very happy with the brightness, the size, the adhesion and the remotes. The color choice could be better and I wish we could have colors other than white pulse, but that's in no way a big problem for what we wanted. Time will tell about the longevity of the LEDs themselves, but so far - so good!

Firstly, the lights. the brightness (which is adjustable) is perfect which means i can use them instead of the rooms lights. Also, it is sticky enough to stick to my desk, however be aware that maybe after removing it and replacing it, it will be less sticky. application was super easy and they add so much to a setup or a room, also incredible value for the money. The only issue is a dodgy remote. it won’t change the colours unless you point it right at and next to the receiver. also. the colours on the remote occasionally don’t match the lights. but even with this, they still function perfectly. 9/10

I ordered this to place behind my bed to be used instead of a lamp. Satisfied with the product due to its cheaper prices, conveniently can be cut to size required. Not very impressed with its adhesion, it would not stick at all to my wooden bed frame so I used blue tac. The remote has to be pointed in a specific location to work, can be a bit fiddly if it's behind a solid object, such as for my bed frame I have to point in the gap for it to work. The colours are great, tons of choices The remote is fine, I did however accidentally press buttons when I leant on it and reprogrammed the colours to mean different actual colours. So, now if I click Purple it's actually Blue, or Red is now Green. So I have to scroll through all the different buttons to find the right colour.

These lights were really easy to setup - i measured my desk and it was 2m exactly so no need to cut these down to length but seems easy enough to do. It was a simple plug in and attach with a peel-off to reveal the adhesive mode of attachment. The adhesive doesn't seem too strong but they have stayed up for 24 hours so far - if they come down just use some good 'ol blutac. They look very good, the brightness is decent and the range of colours is nice. Quality product packaged in a quality box for a very nice price - cant complain!

Generally work fine, however they tend to flash and turn off when the brightness is at the highest, however, they are bright enough when lowered to a suitable brightness. Bought for the back of my head board and the adhesive will not stick to the material. Had to stick to the leather around the outside which looks fine but not what I was hoping for.

Installed it pretty easily.Had to cut a little off of it as it was to long.Peeled of backing tape and stuck it on the back of my 43 inch lg tv.I had to move it once,but it stuck back on ok and has not moved since.Remote is very light and works.It does work on either of the usb sockets on the side of my telly,but i find when you turn off the tv it lights up orange and turns off.Which it should,so i use an old usb plug charger from an old mobile phone and it stays on untill i turn off then.Id recommend the lights

Didn't work from thee get go, straight out of the box it was busted, no remote working and no power drain to the lights from USB, absolutely toast, returning since i'm 99% sure they were used anyway, nocable ties on the USB lead, and no taped LED COIL EITHER ,changed battery in the remove, still toast, will not be buying another, wasted my time on thie and paid the additional £1.99 for todays delivery, shocker..

Such good quality and good price and so so easy to stick on and plug in to either usb plug socket or into an Apple type plug. Luckily usb power socket right by daughters Ikea bed so was a case of just stick on and turn on. Makes her room look so modern and funky with lots of colours and brightness levels to choose from. She is so happy!!! These ones are waterproof too so feel like the lights are encased In a very sturdy rubbery type material. Stuck to bed frame very securely too. Now going to get the 1m ones to go u see her desk too.

They are not easy to connect together. Quite fiddly
