Each test has the same format and is repeated in the next test, getting a little harder each time.It doesn't have the harder mental maths questions in it, like 'If John has 3 cakes and Ruby 5, and Ian has twice the total of John and Ruby, how many does Ian have?'. But that is fine in my opinion. They take a bit more thought anyway. And I was looking for quick questions.One day it asks how many cms in a metre.The next day it repeats the question.The following day it asks how many cms in half a metre.So it is building on a child's knowledge.Very neat layout. Nice and colourful and ideal for doing a page or two each day to help with various areas of maths. I've struggled to get my children to sit down and practice maths for a while now. I've tried so many different books, but these are by far the best. I purchased some maths notebooks separately (with 10mm squares) so I can set my children their own sums / maths practice getting ideas from these books once they've completed all of the pages. Will also be buying the next age up to continue with.
