First Review (2/5/23): Needed two batteries for a chair lift. The description is for a two pack but Amazon only sent one. Made a call to Amazon and they sent another out, but that delayed getting the chair lift back together by a couple of more days waiting for the second battery. As for the batteries themselves they are working great with the chair lift running at normal speed again and not struggling to go up the stairs. Second review(9/30/24): Ordered replacements. This time two batteries were shipped. They were loose in the box designed for 10 batteries. No packing material to keep them from bouncing around, see the photo. Amazon needs to do better at shipping. Again for the batteries themselves, I am happy with them, the chair lift is once again operating a normal speed. Will buy these batteries again when needed. Hopefully Amazon will get better with packing.

Good sealed battery gives all day use (and still going) for my Lowrance Elite 4x fish finder mounted on a Wilderness Tarpon 100 kayak. The battery fits in the kayak rubberized side pockets just right. I use terminals that slide on the +/- battery terminals for fast/easy hook-up/removal. Battery good size for my use, rating meets/exceeds my usage, sealed and takes/holds charge well.

I bought one of these in 2016 to run my fish finder, and normally I keep it in my office. We moved in 2019, and the new house has a Mighty Mule gate opener, and the battery for it died in early 2020. Since this one (the ChromeBattery) was the same spec, I used it as a temporary replacement, until I could order an OEM battery from Mighty Mule - they "strongly suggest" only using OEM parts due to "longevity and reliability" concerns with third-party batteries. I swapped it back out a couple of weeks later, after my OEM replacement showed up, and the Mighty-Mule (GTO) branded replacement only lasted about 6 months. I put the ChromeBattery back in, and it ran just fine for another 2.5 years. I had some more issues with the Mighty Mule, and decided to replace it with a Ghost Controls, which requires two batteries. However, the ChromeBattery had been completely drained. I tried a deep-cycle charge of all three - the Chrome, and both GTO (Mighty Mule) batteries, and the Chrome was the ONLY ONE that came back to life. I just bought two more, and the new gate opener runs just fine on my oldest 2016 battery and one of the replacements, AND I spent about as much on a two-pack as I did on a SINGLE GTO battery. Dear Chrome: You have a loyal customer.

I got this for my Garmin fish finder and it’s working great! 5+ hours on the kayak and it handles that plus multiple trips without a problem.

Of course, at 3:30 AM our alarm battery went into low mode. Effectively scaring the heck out of everybody. Bought this as a replacement. It arrived the next day. Fit perfectly in our ADT alarm box. Great value and great service. Peace of mind again

My experience...there are BETTER brands out there: APC [oem] = 9+ yrs [& still running], SigmaTek = 8 yrs, & UPG = 7 yrs. There are AVERAGE brands out there: Chrome = 3.3+ & 3.3+ [both still running], UPlus = 3.3+ & 2.7+ [both still running]. And then there are WORSE: Expert Power = 5.7 yrs, 3.5 yrs, & 2.3yrs. Each died sooner than the last. Were the cheapest at the time, but ratings were higher than more expensive SLA batteries. 2nd died after only 3 years, 6 month & its replacement was worse; died after only 2 years, 4 months. FIOS ONT said replace, so swapped it into an APC UPS and it failed the self test. So yeah, DEAD. Looks like you'd be lucky to get 4+ years out of an average 12V,7Ah SLA battery these days. Will be back with an update, IF it gets to 4+ years.

Purchased them as a replacement for my APC batteries. Ain’t no way I was going to shell out unreasonable sums for APC originals. The current delivery and voltage is spot on no issues. The power backup is also great. Please note in case you have the Backups 1100VA and others from this series that I had to heat a hammer and melt-press away some of the excess abs plastic material supporting the old batteries within the casing as these are just a little too wide for the casing to fit. Worth it.

The item is not the same as it is shown on Amazon. It is described as USA Brand product but in reality the battery I got is made in INDIA.
