If you even slightly bend an edge, you are making your car slower.  Then think about all four wheels!  All you are doing is ruining all your hard work and making your car slower!
Concave facing to cradle the head of your axle as you lightly advance it forward with the tap of a hammer.  This distributes the strike over the entire head of your axle.  No damaged edges! This tool is the perfect mate with my wheel gap gauge!
On the flip side is the hub packer for packing fine graphite in the new molds.  What is a Hub Packer? I have a video on YouTube.
