The Fittings/couplers themselves are marked style "M" **Q: Are these water tight?** A: I bought this pack from Harbor Freight specifically to use for water lines at residential pressure levels (my home is 90-120psi), and the connection was water tight for me. **Q: Can these handle air and steam?** A: I do not know if they will handle steam. I bought them for use with an air compressor -up to 300 psi. I have had no problems with them.
