Will this product suit my needs?** A: It does a excellent job with communication but getting music to play through is a bit of a bear and it is on the quiet side. **Q: is the intercom full duplex between driver and co-driver?** A: Full Duplex Voice Activated... Yes indeed. I have the Flightcom IISX interfaced to a pair of Rugged Air Headsets. Driver and Navigator can talk without delay, and without Push To Talk. Can even talk over each other. Squelch has broad dynamic range as well, adjust in a quiet room to even allow breathing sounds to transmit, or adjust for open cockpit road noise exclusion but pass through speech. I have not yet plumbed the power circuit into on-board power, but choose rather to keep it isolated and running on fresh 9V battery. Still working on first 9V after 3hours of continuous use in a high squelch environment.
