Ceramic pots known as donabe are perfect for cooking and serving a wide variety of stewed dishes. They are a long-lasting and attractive addition to your kitchen.

Review: Wish it was glazed and or black... - This was my first Donabe and although this particular one works as expected the one issue I have is that the exterior finish of the bottom is not glazed and therefore was immediately stained from heat and spillage after the first use. It is impossible to clean this surface and so each time I use it I have to look at a streaked stained bowl. Not something I really want to put on the dinner table. I think my next Donabe will both be glazed inside and out and will be dark colored in order to maintain a better appearance during it's useful life.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Wish it was glazed and or black...

This was my first Donabe and although this particular one works as expected the one issue I have is that the exterior finish of the bottom is not glazed and therefore was immediately stained from heat and spillage after the first use. It is impossible to clean this surface and so each time I use it I have to look at a streaked stained bowl. Not something I really want to put on the dinner table. Just wish I'd gotten a larger one. This is suitable for 1 big eater but not really for 2 people. Looks great and cleans easily.
