Real ebony wood veneer with fingerprint resistance matte finish is exquisite. Sound quality is superb with a smooth three dimensional life like quality. A direct drive motor lends to accuracy and clarity of musical detail. Craftsmanship is apparent with its hefty 40 lbs. of weight. This piece of hi-fi gear represents a great value for the money based on the excellent build quality alone and will likely last for many years of use. Push button controls, instant start and stop, swappable headshell, and on the fly VTA adjustments has shifted my own listening preferences to now mostly vinyl as opposed to CD, SACD, DVD-Audio, Dolby Atmos Music and HiRes Streaming.
