Smooth, Two-Way Double Zipper The two-way zipper makes it possible to open or close the tent from either inside or outside. The two sliders allow you to open the door from a convenient position. Taller and Wider The SansBug is taller than similar nets so you can sit up in it. It's also much wider so you're not cramped in one position and can sleep comfortably. A sleeping adult changes position every 20 minutes so you're bound to touch the netting in the narrower tents and end up with multiple bites. So... what's the deal with folding this contraption??? Folding the SansBug is not intuitive. Even if you are a rocket scientist, you still need to watch the demo videos multiple times. The paper manual is only supplementary and the videos are crucial. Once you understand the steps, folding will only take seconds. The ease of setup and takedown will save you an hour a day. You can get the hang of it for one summer and you’ll think you got it down but you DO need to watch the video AGAIN the following year BEFORE going to camp (there might not be WiFi).

Review: Good quality, well made. - I don’t usually leave reviews but felt the need to for this product. It’s so much better than I thought it would be. The screen is a fine mesh, nothing like normal bug nets. Nothing is gonna get through it. It’s extremely durable. Once you watch the video of folding it a couple time, it becomes very easy to do. The zipper works well and hasn’t had any issues. The seems are all tight, I don’t think any bug could get in. It’s also perfectly roomy. The bottom is a little noisy but it’s extremely good quality and I’d rather have good quality than no noise. This product is worth it.

**Q: How well does this tent fare against bedbugs at all stages?**
A: I sent one to a friend who lived in a bedbug INFESTED  dormitory situation and he said the tent worked perfectly for keeping out bugs!  Highly recommended!

**Q: Will this keep out scorpions, provided it is kept zipped? (Going camping in West Texas)**
A: Yes, it will keep out scorpions, although it is possible that a scorpion could sting a person through the netting if the person's body is in contact with the netting and if the scorpion felt threatened (very unlikely, unless the person rolled over onto a scorpion that was at the edge of the tent.  Bottom line - scorpions aren't looking for trouble and you should be just fine!  Have fun!  (- response of an entomologist who is also a SansBug tent owner)

**Q: Does it offer any sun protection?**
A: Maybe a little on the top, but we used ours inside the tent for protection from mosquitos.

**Q: Is this treated with permethrin?**
A: I have no idea.  You could contact the manufacturer and ask.  We used it for 2 nights on a trip and no longer need it.  There is nothing wrong with it, and it is in excellent to like new condition.  Thank you.
