After two months of driving it is still there so the adhesive and velcro both seem strong enough. Buyers should know, however, that the pouch is designed for a house key (e.g. kwikset) which is thin and short, not for a long and bulky car key with electronic components such as many car keys have these days. I was able to fit mine in by cutting a slit at the narrow opening of the pouch to make it bigger, and the key -- not a full keyless entry fob but a "valet key" -- fits, but I can't close the pouch as snugly as if it were a small house key. Won't work for those things.But if you have a simple, flat, single key, it's perfect.Remember, if you hide it like they show in the picture - behind the license plate - make sure that you always carry a pair of pliers and screwdriver with you so you can remove the tag.
