They worked exactly as described. They were fun to use and pretty to look at. The infused water is delightful. Given all this, why only 4 stars? Well, they take a bit of minor maintenance that many people will not notice but which may have a bit of an impact on older folks with limited energy and a limited budget. First, there are four pieces to each bottle. If you wash dishes by hand and your physical ability is limited, that is noticeable. The second thing of note is the cost of the fruit and veggies used for infusing and the issue of using them up before they go bad. Again, this is minor enough that most people probably won't notice. For an older person, living alone, on a limited budget, these may be a thing though.Having said all that, I do like the infused water and these particular infusers are easy to use. In the summer and fall, when the local farmers market offers an abundance of inexpensive fruit and veggies, I expect to be using these a lot.Two notes on their usage - First, one article I read said that food being infused at room temperature should not be allowed to sit for more than four hours lest it start going bad. If you put these in the refrigerator, they can infuse overnight. The second note on usage is that one of the things that makes these such fun is experimenting with different combinations. For me, strawberries and cucumbers make a nice summer drink. Apples and a cinnamon stick have become another personal favorite, one with fall overtones. So if you do get these, try any combinations that come to mind and enjoy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I LOVE the bottle but don't use the infuser because when ... *by S***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 1, 2017* I LOVE the bottle but don't use the infuser because when doing so it dramatically reduces the amount of beverage. The BIG plus is they are dishwasher safe & when i travel i have no worries when placing my green tea with honey in my back pack. I bought my first set on Amazon Prime Day about 18 months ago and lost my 1st one in Barcelona (sadly at the beginning of the trip, i use the bottle a lot when i travel for ice tea that i make in my hotel room (the big lid allows for ice from the hotel machines to be easily added then then i carry it around with me all day). The 2nd bottle broke last week when i dropped it last week at Disney World, again on the 1st day of my vacation:( that bottle had been in the dishwasher about a hundred times and it never cracked, lost it's shape or leaked. I just received two new bottles and one is already packed in my carryon bag for my trip to Hawaii next week and the other is filled with tea I'll use today while i hop from meeting to meeting in Washington DC. These bottles have saved me a ton of money on beverages & as soon as i go through TSA i go to the lounge and make my favorite tea.
