We thought it through before buying it, wanting something he can use and play with for several years. So far, he won't touch it. This was a gift for a 3 year old for his birthday. Suffice it to say, he is scared of it, so it isn't being touched. It seems very nicely made, and sturdy. The price was within our budget.
