Amul Pure Ghee Clarified Butter, 2 Pound

This is the only ghee I continue to buy! I have tried so many brands looking for the perfect one and this is by far the best and for the price and large amount you get, you cannot go wrong! The flavor is terrific as well!

Good taste, the only one on Amazon I saw that had the water buffalo and cow's milk. Deducted a star because it arrived with a big dent in the side of the can - luckily it didn't seem to be completely punctured and is not leaking so far.

The taste comes across as unnatural, suggesting a mix of vegetable oil along with added salt and flavor enhancers.

( The second can was a very different quality, actual pure cow butter Ghee this time. With the wrong nutrition facts label, claiming vegetable cooking oil. I'm dropping a star because of inconsistent product.(( I like this better than the last can by the way.))) I bought this ghee because I like to use it in making popcorn, and I was tired of making my own. ( best way to get Max butter flavor without having to use commercial butter powder) The smoke point was the same as my homemade ghee, but the Melt point is a much lower temperature. This may be because of the Buffalo milk in the mix. When I got it I was a little concerned, because it looked like vegetable oil with glee granules, but it smelled, and tasted like ghee is supposed to. I know there wasn't any vegetable oil, because smoke point was too high. Vegetable oil usually starts smoking much sooner than ghee, (in my experience) does. My only complaint is this ghee is not as buttery as my homemade ghee. I suspect this may be because of the Buffalo milk in the mix. Its a pretty good value ,but I'm going to try another brand of ghee in the future to see if I get a richer butter flavor.

Appreciate this larger size of ghee and the price is reasonable.

Why did you choose this product over others?: i like this ghee since childhood bcoz it taste real and amazing So here in uk I don’t like the ghee available i have tried all the ghee’s. But when i got to know that amul ghee is available i was so happy and I ordered it and it tasted amazing the way I expected i love it i am gonna order this again.
