There is no mistaking when someone goes into the secure storage room without disarming the alarm system! It is even audible through the fire doors about 50 feet away, but obviously not nearly as loud. When testing the custom alarm system at my house before bringing it to work, my ears were ringing for 20 minutes after testing the siren for only a few seconds. I got up to find the Bathroom way down to 55 degrees which puts the floor low enough to allow a draft to freeze pipes... I reset the space heater and went back to bed.
