I knew that I would bring it out again for my youngest, and in fact this game is probably the main reason I've kept our 2001 iMac in use, because it requires a computer that can run OS9.Somehow in the intervening years, our original copy of the game got lost, or maybe a neighbor kid liked it so much they took it home. So I decided to buy a replacement.The CD must be in the computer's drive in order to play. For most games, this is really annoying, but this 25th anniversary edition comes in a rather deluxe and attractive wooden box that you won't mind keeping near the computer, even if the computer is in a visible location.The game shows its age in the graphics and sound quality, but the game itself is so solid and intriguing that my youngest is playing it enthusiastically, despite having been exposed to lots of modern flashy games. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A classic that lives on... *by F***I on Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2011* Arguably the best of the series, Oregon Trail II is a remarkably entertaining game.
