If so then yes they are the pair I described my review in. **Q: I this a hard/rigid case, or soft?** A: This is a hard case. Pretty solid. Only weak point is the wrist strap thing... I ripped mine off on accident. **Q: will my audio technica ath-m40 studio headphones fit in this case?** A: They will fit, although snug. I have modded my ATH-M40x with larger Brainwavz HM5 Earpads and carry both my 10ft and 4ft cords without much difficulty.
