Well-packaged. Enjoyed having the extra reeds included. However, the scent is not remotely associated with ocean and sea salt but is instead a very light flowery/fruity scent. That said, it is not a bad scent and is rather pleasant. That is... IF you can smell it. The scent is very weak, and you really aren't aware at all that there is a diffuser in the room. Have this in two places: small diffuser in the bathroom a and large one with 7 reeds in the living room space. If you go near it, you can pick up some of the aroma.
