Such a good idea
The 4 year old I got this book for absolutely loves the idea of a new word every day, it encouraging him to read as well as expand his vocabulary. A great buy for a child who loves language.

Great book!
My four year old who is lear ing to read loves it and it is great to learn new words and have conversations about them!

2 year loves it. Used daily
Perfect for my 2 year old. I leave it on the dining room table and each morning I will say and explain talk the new word. The illustrations are funny so we talk about what’s happening and how it relates to the word. This is something that is adult led. You have to say the word and explain it. My son enjoys it. Always asks for “the new word !” I ask him what sound the first letter makes and we take it from there. Highly recommend

Colourful and engaging
Arrived quickly. At first glance it looks good but I am yet to use it with my children. It looks colourful and inviting and I like the way it's grouped into types of words.

Good for spelling. Poor for vocabulary.
Very basic vocabulary. My 3 year old already uses most of the words and knows what 95% of the rest mean anyway. Good for practicing sounds and phonics but for vocabulary it's very basic. I was hoping for more challenging words.
