Although I prefer another way of printing out words and organize them vertically, I still rated this resource five stars because of the structured weekly plan and routines that will keep you accountable, help children know what to do when, and assist as you plan without eliminating fun. I teach K-3 special ed, and the expectation expansion from level to level is excellent. Her weekly structure includes new words, review of last weeks words, and using all the words in profitable ways that will help develop readers and writers. The plan includes centers and there is a chapter devoted to them that has great advice on helping children approach words. As stated by the author, her system provides the structure, variety, ease, regular reading and writing of words, and IS both focused and fun. And I did prefer her suggested word lists over many other lists I've seen (and she tells you why she altered them). So, despite arranging words differently and my preference for a font that is very clear and can be resized if needed, I was very willing to keep this resource as the first half was so valuable (structure is a non-negotiable when teaching four grade levels).
