I listened to others that were upwards of $3000.00 dollars in audiophile stores and this C-7000R held it's own nicely. You can find better CD players but you'll have pay a lot more for it and Onkyo has been around for years. I'm very satisfied with this purchase but wish I could have gotten it in silver instead of black. ### ⭐⭐ Unstable tracking, failed in less than 2 years *by I***S on February 2, 2018* This product, which I purchased less than 2 years ago, appears to have a design flaw in its tracking mechanism. Tracking is very susceptible to skipping from the smallest particles on a CD. And now the tracking has failed completely on multiple discs after the discs start to play for 10-15 minutes. I cannot recommend this unit, which is also very highly priced, and I am in the process of replacing it with a different CD player. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ... had this unit for 6 months and am very happy with it *by R***T on February 28, 2018* I've had this unit for 6 months and am very happy with it.
