So I went with the Kahool option as it seemed to check the most boxes and I figured I’d return it if it didn’t meet standards. When I received it, the dock is so small, it can literally fit in a pocket, I was surprised. I did have to buy a separate rapid charger, and on desertcart I believe that ran me another $10-15. As for performance, the Switch slides right into place. In the two weeks I’ve owned it, I’ve moved my Switch between docks at least 5-6 times and it so far is holding up really well. There is an on/off button which gives the option to turn off if your tv requires it to move between switch and tv mode. When it is on and the Switch is on the dock, the front of the dock lights up blue. Even if the tv is off, the light stays on, so either turn the dock off with the button or remove the Switch. As for picture quality, my main gaming tv is a 4k ultra 60” Samsung and the bedroom is a 4k ultra 40” Visio. The only difference between the image and sound is the tv. The Kahool holds up the same quality image and sound as the standard Nintendo dock. So far I am very happy with my choice and would recommend.
