First and foremost, I think its preface on teaching the principles before all else is the most important; if there's a million ways to play the game there's a thousand ways to coach it, and just like players finding themselves so are coaches. So by understanding the general theme, it was relatively easy for me to understand the examples. Also a big fan of the QR code embedded examples.I took this material and helped fashion some training sessions for the U16 girls team that I assist; we're highly competitive but have had problems with out goal-scoring efficiency. We went on a run of five scoreless games, and then employed the new session inspired by this book. The next game was a couple more shots, and the next we had we put in four and missed three others. While I'm sure this wasn't a direct reflection of just a few sessions, the overall play of our team was much more of an attacking mindset, one that wasn't just the same thing over and over. And that was basically just understanding the rotations aspect; in our winter offseason I'm teaching our finishers/mids the interchange aspects. I also emailed the author to inquire about workshops (as offered in the end), and received a response to discuss matters further. I HIGHLY recommend this book. If you're the type of coach to teach playmakers "just get the ball to your feet and make some magic", this will serve you well.Edit: buy the paper copy (I did) ### ⭐⭐ QR Codes No Longer Accessible *by B*** on December 26, 2024* The way it's written makes me think this was self published and didn't have the benefit of an editor. The information is worthwhile, but it's difficult to follow in some places and it's not always clear how chapters connect to one another. The biggest issue is that the QR codes are no longer accessible so you can't see how the rotations really look in real life. This significantly diminishes the value of the book. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Doesn’t Dive Too Deep *by S***Y on July 17, 2019* The concept of rotations and interchanges is presented in an easy to understand manner, and the videos accessed via the QR codes are a nice touch.
