They have a beautiful black finish and are clearly impact grade quality. I use mine on a 3/4 to 1/2 adapter for when I have to torque large axle nuts, etc. However, if I had a 3/4 impact wrench, I wouldn't hesitate to put high torque into these babies. They are very heavy (weight size) and have thick walls. The overall design of the product is top quality. They are far better than any other sockets I have purchased. I've seen large impact socket sets for several hundred dollars, but I can't see how you could make a product better than what Neiko is selling here for a fraction of the cost. Again, this is an excellent quality product. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. In other words, how many clicks does it take to rotate one full circle?** A: Ok after physically counting the clicks I came up with 42. Though it is not in the league with Snap-On or Matco, although I own tens of thousands of dollars in Snap-On and used them professionally at one time, for the non-professional mechanic as on a farm or such this set will work fine I feel. I beat the snot out of them with an Ultra High Torque impact. Worked perfectly. Doesn't have a warranty but it doesn't appear I have needed one yet.
