Trying to decide between this and one made by Woodstock. Need it for rolling vinyl plank self stick tiles.** A: They are a really hard rubber, or synthetic compound. Something comparable to a car tire. I used it for rolling peel and stick tiles. It works, but it will work you to do it. I guess any small roller would. **Q: Is this use for formica as well?** A: We use it primarily for Formica work , great tool. **Q: Can I use for carpet tile adhesive** A: I don't think its heavy enough for carpet tile.
