All arrived alive, with 6 snails plus one extra tiny one. I had to leave immediately after picking up my snails and plopping them into my tank, so I didn't get a good look at them, but most looked to be about medium-sized.I came back after a few hours and all of them were moving about, a couple of them already floating at the surface upside-down and munching on duckweed. I'll update this review if things change, but so far things seem to be going well.EDIT: It's been over a year now, and the 6 ramshorns have prospered and multiplied into countless other snails. I've had them in a 10-gal plastic tub for over a year with no filtration and a simple airstone, and none of them have crawled out of the water. Some of the original huge old ones have died (old age, I believe) while others are doing fine, though it's hard to tell now because a lot of them have grown large. They're living amongst dozens of other pond snails that snuck in on a plant, and they've eaten everything (including masses of floating Salvinia), with my duckweed being the sole survivor.Great snails! ### ⭐ These are advertised as RED snails, I was given BLACK snails - which are not what were advertised. *by P***Y on November 30, 2020* Very disappointed to receive BLACK ramshorn snails when these were advertised as RED snails, even with a photo of red snails being used on Amazon. I specifically needed red snails, so these were of no use to me, but I have to keep them alive now that i have received them. supply what you advertise! ### ⭐⭐ Disappointed *by P***K on April 4, 2020* They arrived and were so small I could hardly find them on the wet paper wrapping they can in. I did get extra, but all were less that 2mm. I couldn’t tell if they were alive because they were so small. Beautiful red color though.
