But for the price, it work surprisingly well. Padding is thin, buckles seem like they will break without much pressure, and the fabric is thin. One thing that is bad is the design for the water hose; it open from the top. So you can forget taking this backpack out in the rain or even drizzle since water can find it way in where the hose port is see picture. Another thing is for hiking backpack, there's no whistle on the middle buckle. It's currently being sold for $45.00. At $45.00 I'd say there are better options. But for what I paid it's an absolute steal. It will work great for what I need. I owned another Outdoor Products backpack that I had for years. It finally started falling apart. This is a replacement for that one. I don't think the quality of this one is as good as the other I owned, but if I get a few years out of it, I'll be happy. Especially for what I paid for it. One negative I have is that it does only have one main compartment. The pictures are a bit misleading. They give it the look that it has two compartments. This to me is not a big issue but it would have been nice if it did have two. All in all I'm happy with this pack. Wait til it's back down price wise to at least $20 and under.
