If you have an office chair where you can adjust the height then no problem but if you are using the normal plastic chair then the height of the table is higher than you are seated.Lastly in one of the reviews I read that the shelf given below becomes an obstacle to complete go inside however for people who want to use it for desktops/laptops it is fine as the upper shelf is actually extended out 5 inches out if you watch closely. And even if you want to use it as dining table you can actually choose not to use the shelf and hang it below.
