First pack split (shown in pictures)...not sure if it was a result of bladder being full was to big for pack or what. Contacted their customer service...got a response within 7 minutes...promptly handled and they sent me a new pack.Second pack waist strap pulled out when i bent over. In all honesty i did not contact customer service over the second (replacement) pack. I am sure they would have replaced, but clearly the pack is not durable enough for what i am looking for.Picture - 1st pack shown to the right, the back side split and the bladder is shown. Replacement (2nd pack) shown to the left, insertion points for the waist band ripped out and split.Bottom line --Bladder is awesome, one of the best i have run across-Customer service is great, they were friendly and quick to resolve-the Pack is light duty at best i would personally search for something more durable.Original review - Pack is solid - i use it for hiking and for hydration during farm chores (beekeeping, chainsawing etc) it holds up well. Only ding i can give is that the waist belt is kinda "why bother" since it is essentially a cheap nylon strapping with no padding would be nice to have either 1) a tuck away pouch for it 2) have some more quality put into strap with some padding similiar to a larger pack though proportionate to this packs size or 3) just get rid of it.Bladder is as advertised over all no complaints...small wish - if it had a screw lid for filling to go with slide top for cleaning would be a nice touch. But this does not take away from performance. I am very impressed with the quality for the price.Update: I have now used this pack for multiple hikes and bike rides.Pros: There is a lot of storage in the pack, it fits well and is comfortable for several hours. The extra large water reservoir is easy to wash and it is nice to have the extra water.Neutral: The rain fly is not, it kept the bag from getting horribly soaked but water seeped through it. I will say it was raining fairly well when we used it. I'm still glad we had it as I'm certain it did help some.Cons: I prefer to have my water hose on the right side. The older is only made to go on the left. I understand that most people will use this for hiking or biking, but I am on oxygen and carry my tank in a hydration pack. It has multiple pockets, The zipper to the main compartment has two zippers so we can go left or right, and it even has a net bag that attaches to carry a water bottle or other item. It is sturdy and super comfortable.
