This book is simple enough where you don't need to spend days on one song, and you can keep moving along at a good pace. The music is fun to play and there's some very good instruction between each piece. I love that theory, technique, performance , and lesson materials are all in one book. Much simpler for students to keep up with and use than having four or five books and constantly flipping from one to the other. Also appreciate that these books develop the left hand for chording (block chords, arpeggios, etc) while still including linear accompaniment styles.
